First Impressions
Appearance
Apart from her attire, Hetty is your average attractive middle-aged woman. A little on the taller side at 5'8" with curly hair and a slender build.

Ordinarily, she is both invisible and intangible to the living world. For the sake of rp, feel free to assume anyone may see and hear her.
Fashion
Straight out of the Gilded Age. Hetty is eternally condemned to wear the outfit in which she died, a deep teal day dress. It most closely aligns with 1880's fashion, about a decade before her death, with close sleeves, a high collar, and a bustle that looks to correlate to the 2nd bustle period. Her red hair is pinned up with a few stray tendrils left loose to frame her face.

Demeanor & Attitude
Haughty.

Hetty comes from money. A lot of money. She was raised to believe wealth was the only thing that one should ever need or particularly care about, and she learned the lesson well. It is not at all unusual for her to look down on everyone around her. While she can be kind, she is not very good at being nice. And she can be incredibly selfish.

But there's a lot going on under the surface, a lot that she hides. She talks about herself all the time without ever really letting anyone get to know her. She loves to deflect. And she's been prone to anxiety since she was a child.

She's grown in the last 130 years. For the better. She's started to find her own voice, understand her opinions have weight. As she's been shown respect, she's slowly learning to show more of it herself, to be kinder, to be a better friend.
Voice
American. She has a lower register, but in moments of stress, anger, excitement, etc., it trends higher and sometimes almost a little pinched.

Have a video. (cw: reference to adultery)
Magic & Telepathy
As far as defenses, Hetty has no more than the average strong-willed human with a deep desire to keep her truths buried. And she was an ordinary human when she was living. Now, however, she's a ghost, which she couldn't hide if she wanted. She doesn't know how or what she is, exactly. Magic? Energy? They don't understand it in that way. But anyone is welcome to realize she died some decades ago.

If you'd like to go digging further in her mind, we can have a chat.
